Sermon Disscusion 6/7/2026

  • Paul warned the crew and they ignored him, yet he didn't sulk or check out. He stayed engaged and kept serving the people around him. Think about a storm in your own life that was caused by someone else's decision. How did you respond, and what would it have looked like to respond like Paul?
  • Paul didn't plan Malta, but God used the shipwreck to send his "number one disciple" exactly where he was needed. Looking back, can you identify a detour or painful season in your life where God was clearly working through it, even if you couldn't see it at the time?
  • Jesus promised tribulation, not comfort. John Harper died in his storm. Paul was eventually executed. Yet both remained obedient to the end. What does it look like practically for you to stay obedient to God right now, in whatever storm you're currently facing?
