The teenage years are a key, formative time of life. During this season, many young people ages 12–18 begin shaping their worldview and establishing lasting beliefs. These years are filled with opportunity and joy—sports, theater, friendships, and new responsibilities—but they are also filled with challenges—cultural pressures, school demands, broken families, and difficult decisions about the future.

At the center of all this stands a big question: What guidance does God’s word give for navigating these pivotal years?

Cheniere Student Youth Ministry exists to come alongside parents in discipling their youth (Grades 6–12) to love and pursue God from a biblical worldview within the context of a local church community.

We pursue this calling through Sunday classes, Wednesdays night gatherings, small group discipleship, and rhythms of fellowship, events, and retreats. We would love to come alongside your family!

Explore Our Current Series: Real Jesus

We live in a world full of opinions about who Jesus is — a good teacher, a moral example, a revolutionary. But who is He really? In this series, we’re walking through the Gospels to see the real Jesus in His words, actions, and heart. Our goal is to move beyond assumptions and discover the truth that transforms: Jesus isn’t just someone to admire; He’s someone to know and follow.

What We Do
Learn – Through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word, we seek to meet students where they are and help them see the truth of the gospel in everyday life.
Grow – After our lessons, we gather in discussion groups and enjoy hangouts that build genuine community. These times help us encourage one another toward love and good works.
Go – Our prayer is that what students learn about God takes root in their hearts and transforms the way they live, so that their hands and lives reflect Christ in the world.
Sundays

Our youth meet each Sunday at 9:30am for Bible study. Students gather in two groups—guys and girls—to study God’s Word together. Our goal is that they would grow in Christ-centered community and learn to encourage one another toward love and good works.

Wednesdays

Each Wednesday from 5:30–7:00pm, our students come together for a time of fun, fellowship, and growth.

  • 5:30–6:00pm – Hangout, snacks, and games

  • 6:00pm – Teaching and small group discussions

  • After groups – More games and hangout time

Our aim is that students would not only hear and understand the gospel clearly, but also respond to it personally in faith and obedience as God works in their hearts and minds.

Camps & Retreats

In addition to our regular gatherings, we host special events throughout the year to help students grow in faith and community.

  • Summer Camp – A weeklong experience for students entering grades 6–12. Students deepen their walk with the Lord, build lasting friendships, and enjoy all the fun of summer camp while being challenged to grow in their faith.

  • Spring & Fall Events – Throughout the year, we also gather for special retreats, outings, and events that create opportunities for students to connect with one another and be encouraged in their walk with Christ.
